Rex Dixon left the business pretty much for trying to push for more franchise and gameplay fixes. Suits want to push the match in a different direction. Rex killed the last good Madden Franchise (Madden 12) with the shit version we've now (Madden 13 to present). Can it be Mut 21 coins specifically him though? Granted I've just listened to his side of this story later years of attributing it specifically on him. If the buck doesn't stop with the inventive manager, where does this stop at? . Again this is coming from his view, but in this breakdown of an interview w/ Rex, he mentions he left EA, and how he pushed to postpone the match for a year to to build the game from the ground up to move away from legacy code. The previous director Ian Cummings also left for similar reasons, at the end of the afternoon EA is well known for killing franchises, and spewing to the lowest denominator in relation to customer relations.

Could you state that he was still responsible, sure. But I also think there were individuals higher up that produced madden the game it's today. Rex was still the one to gut M12's Franchise and replaced it with the dead version we have today. He had been there for I believe 6 decades. However, it generates a much superior finished product.

Pretty sure this response was to silence negativity quite a little, at least before release, so they can keep their M21 advertisement effort going without much disturbance. And I think they achieved their objective. When game launch will be close, just mark my words, they gonna appear and say this:" Sorry, staff worked hard, but we couldn't make any huge changes so profound into development stage. However, this work is going to be put to use in M22, which will have overhauled and wonderful franchise expreince". And of course M22 franchise will nonetheless be identical as M13. It'll be exact same thing that they did with M20. Since release, when game has been absolutely unplayable for very big group of PC players who'd Core i5 chips (which has largest userbase).
