Door/window contact II (plus) - upamfva - 07 Nov 2022

The compact all-rounder, door/window contact II (plus) doesn’t merely allow you to keep an eye on whether doors, windows, and more, are open or close – you can also save a lot of energy and protect your home from burglars. To get more news about windows sensor, you can visit securamsys.com official website.
Here, you have the choice between the standard door/window contact II model and the door/window contact II plus model with an additional vibration sensor.

You can clearly see the status of your door/window contacts in your Bosch Smart Home app and via a Widget (iOS) or push notifications (Android).
If you don’t have your smartphone handy and certainly don’t want to have to dart through the house, you can simply ask your voice assistant:

“Hey Siri, is the window in the bathroom still open?”

Siri, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant will conveniently give you an answer to whether a window is currently open or closed.Your doors and windows are what you make of them: your Bosch Smart Home door/window contact (plus) has a small, compact and waterproof design – and can be used anywhere that you want to have an overview of whether something is open or closed.

If you have the Smart Home controller, your door/window contacts (plus) are linked with all smart devices. They then work hand-in-hand – for more security, convenience and efficiency.

For example, the door/window contact (plus) is part of the important, pre-set services :This is how to avoid letting heat go out the window: if the door/window contact (plus) detects an open window, it automatically turns down the radiator thermostats in the room.

This happens thanks to the “Sustainable ventilation” service. The Smart Home controller communicates the open window to the smart thermostats. These then turn down the heating temperature while the room is being ventilated – and then continue to heat again automatically once the window is closed.

This allows you to save energy and heating costs without having to take care of it yourself – your Smart Home thinks for you.
A double press activates the break function. This allows you to open and close windows/doors once without activating services or automations. This is practical if you want to let some fresh air in at night, or let the dog out without triggering the alarm, for example. You can choose to end the break automatically after a certain amount of time.
Short or long presses of the button can be assigned as triggers for freely selectable actions, automations and scenarios. Find out more under “Here’s how it works”.
Your door/window contact (standard model) triggers your alarm system as soon as uninvited guests open a window or door.

However, if you have the door/window contact plus version, it never even reaches the point of a break-in:

For extra security, this version also has a vibration sensor, and you can set the sensitivity to one of 5 different levels.

This means that an alarm is triggered already when burglars start messing about your windows and causing them to shake – which will soon send any burglars running.
